NFI Repping AstraGin to Sports Market

WALNUT, Calif.NuLiv Science announced its AstraGin ingredient will now be exclusively sold into the sports nutrition market by Miramar, Fla.-based Nutrition Formulators Inc. (NFI); World Wellness, a San Diego-based sales and marketing firm, represented NuLiv in negotiating the $10 million agreement.

AstraGin is a proprietary formulation of ginsenosides extracted from Panax notoginseng and alcohol fraction from Astragalus membranaceous. It has been studied for its ability to promote and improve absorption of a range of nutrients, including amino acids, vitamins and glucose. AstraGin appears to regulate and alter certain genetic and protein expression levels.
