ACNielsen, SPINS Expand Relationship

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. & SAN FRANCISCO—ACNielsen U.S. (www.acnielsen.com) and SPINS Inc. (www.spins.com) expanded their business relationship to share expertise, collaborate and optimize existing products, and jointly develop new products and services for customers in the health and wellness, and natural and organic products industries. The agreement expands coverage of these sectors by allowing manufacturer clients to access SPINSscan Retail Measurement Services through the ACNielsen POS and consumer panel applications, and to apply the SPINS Product Library against ACNielsen reporting and analytical services. The companies will also work to leverage ACNielsen’s Consumer Panel service to provide insight into consumer segmentation and behavior in natural and organic purchases.
