Alpha Packaging Acquires Yorkbridge

ST. LOUISAlpha Packaging (www.alphap.com) acquired YorkbridgePackaging Northeast, a plastic bottle manufacturer based in Bethlehem, Pa. Theacquisition is Alpha Packagings first since the White Plains, N.Y.-basedprivate equity firm Stonebridge Partners took an equity stake in Alpha Packagingin late 2004. With the acquisition, Alpha acquired a state-of-the-art plant with10 PET injection stretch blow molding machines; it plans to double the current33,000-square-foot manufacturing capacity.
