American Custom Drying Co. Adds Packaging Room

BURLINGTON, N.J.--American Custom Drying Co. (ACD) (www.americancustomdrying.com) announced it added a new, $500,000 packaging room for its food ingredient spray dryer.

"The new clean room includes dedicated, positive pressure HVAC, a dust-control system and all food-grade surfaces," said Paul McFarland, manager of product development, in a statement.

The company's packaging capabilities include 50-lb. bags, boxes, pails, drums and super sacks. Packaging is performed in a cGMP environment, with the use of a metal detector for validation of finished products, according to McFarland.

Michael Geiger, chief operating officer and executive vice president, added, "This investment represents ACD's ongoing commitment to serving the food industry and its increased focus on HACCP procedures."
