MADERA, Calif.—Polyphenolics will host its first customer appreciation event to celebrate the company’s synergistic relationships developed over the years. The event will take place during SupplySide West in Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. in booth 33143.

“I am always ready to communicate with customers, usually by providing key information that they can use for their competitive advantage," said Anil Shrikhande, Ph.D., president of Polyphenolics. “Customer satisfaction in all aspects of our business is important to us."

At the appreciation event, guests will sample from gourmet cheese trays and enjoy world-renowned Robert Mondavi wines. They will also be invited to spin the wheel to win prizes and product giveaways. Two event attendees will win the drawings for Robert Mondavi Winery, Napa Valley gift certificates, each valid for a winery tour and tasting for two people.

Among the most established relationships is the one between Polyphenolics and GNC. During a 2013 SupplySide West presentation, GNC’s chief innovation officer Guru Ramanathan, Ph.D., acknowledged the collaboration. He described the development of products containing MegaNatural-BP, including how GNC worked with Polyphenolics on the types of clinical study models and the range of product applications that would be relevant to GNC’s customers. As a result, MegaNatural grape seed extracts are included in the formulations of many GNC products, from GNC’s Preventive Nutrition line, which addresses blood pressure maintenance, to their Mega Women and Mega Men Heart and Sports Vitapak Programs.

A newer relationship involves Brad Miller of Maven Management. Miller approached Shrikhande with an idea for a functional beverage made with multiple Polyphenolics products: MegaNatural-BP, considered to be the only grape seed extract that supports blood pressure within the normal range, and MegaNatural-Red Wine Grape Extract with trans-Resveratrol, which provides approximately 50 to 60 times more trans -Resveratrol in its active form than one glass of red wine. Polyphenolics offered guidance and support during all stages of the product’s development. The resulting beverage, Health Transformance, will be introduced and available for tasting at Polyphenolics’ booth at SupplySide West.
