HOMEWOOD, ILDavid Meekings, Ph.D., has joined the consulting division at Silliker, Inc., Homewood, IL, as a technical director. Prior to joining the company, he held management, quality assurance and R&D positions with several leading companies, including RJR Nabisco, Del Monte Foods and Rich-SeaPak Corp. Meekings specializes in food-safety development programs, supplier-certification programs, food-spoilage investigations, crisis management and due-diligence evaluations.

In other Silliker news, Jeanna Kilmer was named technical sales manager and will be based at the organizations Modesto, CA operation. She most recently served as an industry consultant and a food technologist with Fresh Express, Inc.
