Ecuadorian Rainforest Signs Distribution Agreement
NEW YORK--Representatives of the Community ShuarArutam of the Ecuadorian Amazon, Corporacion Arutam Amazonico and EcuadorianRainforest met at the Consulate of Ecuador in New York to sign a contract forexclusive distribution rights in the United States of nutritional products,fruits and herbs from the rainforests of Ecuador. Dr. Hernan Holguin, generalconsulate for Ecuador in New York, was present for the event.
The relationship between Ecuadorian Rainforest LLC and ShuarArutam will employ more than 10,000 members of this native group from theAmazon. Ecuadorian Rainforest is based in West Paterson, N.J., and is a supplierof herbal products, primarily from Ecuador.
