Pharmachem, Proprietary Nutritionals Team Up

KEARNY, N.J.PharmachemLaboratories Inc. announced a business partnership with Proprietary NutritionalsInc. (PNI) in Brantford, Ontario; PNI will operate as a subsidiary ofPharmachem, continuing to launch specialty branded ingredients for thenutritional products industry. Dean Mosca, founder of PNI, will serve aspresident of the PNI operation.

This venture will combine Pharmachems ability to developand manufacture value-added products and services with PNIs demonstratedability to market branded ingredients, said David Holmes, founder andpresident of Pharmachem.Over the last few years, we have investedsignificantly in our manufacturing and processing technologies. Our venture withPNI will help us do a better job of marketing new ingredients and processesresulting from those technologies.

Pharmachem is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2005, and isthe parent company of American Ingredients, Avoca Inc., H. Reisman and MPT Inc. PNI was founded in 2000 and has launchedseveral patented branded ingredients including Cran-Max, InoCell and Celadrin.
