Sabinsa Opens Malaysia Office

PISCATAWAY, N.J.—Sabinsa Corp. opened Sabinsa Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. The new office will serve as a raw materials sales and distribution center serving Southeast Asia. Sujith Sathyadaas is the new organization’s business development manager, and will oversee sales and marketing efforts, establish distribution channels and implement new business initiatives. Jamuna Imee Ramanadan will assist as office manager, handling day-to-day activities and office operations.

“The dietary supplement industry in Malaysia is booming, and as our business in the region steadily increased it became evident that we needed to establish an office to better serve our customers,” stated Todd Norton, president. “Sabinsa Malaysia will additionally focus on identifying indigenous botanicals with unique health applications that can be studied further at our research and development facilities in India.”
