GADSTRUP, Denmark—Fortitech Europe announced its facility in Gadstrup, Denmark, received ISO 9001:2000 recertification from National Quality Assurance, an internationally recognized quality registrar. Fortitech gained approval in recognition of its continuous improvement of its already strict quality standards. The facility is GMO-free and meets kosher, halal, GMP (good manufacturing practice), allergen-monitoring and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.

“ISO standards specify the requirements for state-of-the-art products, services, materials and systems, and for good conformity assessment, managerial and organizational practice,” said Peter Sørensen, Fortitech Europe’s managing director. “The principal benefit of this recertification is to show Fortitech’s continuous improvement of its premix quality and manufacturing processes.”

In additional news, Fortitech Asia Pacific in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, announced it hired Tony Tan as general manager of business development to focus on growing the company’s business in the People’s Republic of China. Tan will build a business base for Fortitech’s custom premixes throughout China and provide additional support to the Asia Pacific sales force to accelerate market development in other Asian markets.
