MOMENCE, Ill.--FutureCeuticals, a division of VanDrunen Farms, announced results of a study on its new supplement,FruiteX-B, a patented natural food form of boron called calcium-fructo-borate. The recently completed clinical study with osteoarthritis patients showed thatFruiteX-B acted beneficially in reducing symptoms of the disease by as much as 70 percent, according to FutureCeuticals (www.vandrunenfarms.com). The company also claimed thatFruiteX-B outperformed glucosamine and chrondrotin sulfate in similar studies.
