JRS Pharma, Gujarat Form Joint Venture

ROSENBERG, Germany—JRS Pharma GmbH & Co. KG signed a joint venture agreement and marketing/distribution agreement with Gujarat Microwax Private Ltd. (GMPL), Ahmedabad, India. The agreements give JRS the responsibility to promote, sell and distribute GMPL’s Flocel microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) product range. JRS operates sales offices from the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Czech Republic, Benelux, Spain, Finland, Russia and China.

“This joint venture enables us to further extend our already outstanding product range in excipients with an additional, well-established product to the benefit of our customers,” said J.O. Rettenmaier, president of JRS. “With MCC production facilities in four countries and three continents, we can now offer unmatched logistics and cost advantages combined with supply back-up security.
