MSM Ingredient May Protect Equine Cartilage

GREENVILLE, Pa.--Carolwood Corp. announced the half-way point of its in vitro study to determine ifAlvisMSM, an ultra-pure MSM ingredient, can maintain and protect equine cartilage. The study is utilizing articular cartilage samples excised from nine horses that had been euthanised for reasons other than joint disease. Preliminary results indicate that MSM has a positive impact on reducing inflammation and protects the cartilage from further degeneration. Full statistical analyses are being prepared by the company (www.carolwoodmsm.com) and will be released in a few months.
