New Joint Health Product Features NEM

CARTHAGE, Mo.ESM Technologies' NEM® was featured in  the recent launch of Jamieson Laboratories' Advanced Joint Care in Walgreens stores nationwide.

NEM® is a clinically proven eggshell membrane ingredient that provides a natural source of glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronic acid (HA), collagens, proteins and other joint-supporting nutrients. It is also known to support joint comfort and flexibility.

In a Belgium study, researchers found osteoarthritis (OA) patients taking 500 mg/d NEM supplementation to improve in scores for pain and stiffness after 10, 30 and 60 days (Drugs Aging. 2007;24(7):573-80). Research from NIS Labs published in 2012 also demonstrated the benefits of natural eggshell membrane in joint inflammation management (J Med Food. 2012 Apr;15(4):360-8). Researchers concluded that NEM suppressed pro-inflammatory cytokines in peripheral blood mononuclear cell cultures.

In 2012, NEM® was approved and granted licenses by Health Canada and was issued Natural Product Numbers (NPNs).
