Cargill H&FT Expands Trehalose Marketing Efforts

MINNEAPOLISCargill Health & Food Technologies (H&FT) and Hayashibara Co. Ltd. have negotiated rights to the European marketplace for trehalose. Under terms of the agreement, Cargill H&FT is the sole distributor of trehalose (as ASCEND) in Europe. The company also has exclusive rights to sell ASCEND in the food market in North America, South America and Central America.
