Citromax Names Vice President of Product Development

CARLSTADT, N.J.Citromax, a leading grower of lemons and producer of oils and juices, announced the hiring of Andy Blum as its new vice president of development. Blum is a 31-year veteran of the flavor and fragrance and essential oils industry.

In making the announcement, Citromax President Vivian Glueck said: Citromax is the only company in the flavor and fragrance industry to own its own fruit processing, and we have brought in Andy who has extensive expertise  in essential oils and citrus flavors to help us produce flavor components and beverage bases that can be used to provide superior offerings to our consumer goods customers." She also said the company plans to expand on its strength in Organic Lemon (essential oils and juice concentrates) by launching a complete product stream for Organic Lemon products.

Blum previously held executive positions at Phoenix Aromas and Essential Oils, Symrise, and Polarome Manufacturing Co. He earned a bachelors degree in chemistry from Wagner College and an MBA in Management of Technology and Strategic Planning from Rutgers Business School.
