The team at SupplySide, Natural Products Insider and Food & Beverage Insider are deeply saddened by the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and others killed by authorities who abused their power. We mourn these deaths and offer our sincere condolences to the families, friends and community members who have lost their loved ones. Racism must end, as must the systems of power that enable and hide it. Black lives matter.

Natural product companies, and Informa’s SupplySide Network as a leading voice in this industry, must work together to stop the habits and cultures that put Black people of color at a disadvantage.

Together, we can build a more equitable and just food and supplement industry for all people in the supply chain and for all consumers, especially Black people.

We at SupplySide, Natural Products Insider and Food & Beverage Insider remain committed to furthering justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) in the natural product industry, as we outlined earlier this year. We are also committed to highlighting individuals and companies that are helping further this cause through our digital offerings and in-person events.

Together, we can make this world, and the food system that fuels it, a better place.
