UNPA Adds 3 Members, 7 Partnerships

SALT LAKE CITYThe United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) welcomed three new members and announced seven partnerships as it expands its resources in the natural products industry.

The companies 4Life, Doctors Best and LifeVantage will all join UNPA's team, while the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP), American Botanical Council (ABC), the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED), the International Association for the Advancement of High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Medicus Research, Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute and NSF International will collaborate for partnerships.

The company 4Life is a direct-selling company with offices in 22 countries. Founded in 1998, 4Life has assembled a team of doctors, scientists and researchers to advance immune system science and product innovation.

Doctors Best in San Clemente, Calif., was founded in 1990 by a medical physician. The company offers a line of specialty supplement products backed up by clinical research, and its goal involves enhancing health and quality of life using herbs and nutrients.

LifeVantage is a science-based nutraceutical company involved in nuclear factor (erythroid-derived 2)-like 2 (Nrf2) science. Its wellness and anti-aging products are based on science that reduces oxidative stress at a cellular level. The company was founded in 2003 and based in Salt Lake City.

In addition to its three added team members, UNPA's new partnerships with industry organizations will result in new projects and products, educational offerings and insights, new technologies, the advancement of personalized medicine and global track-and-trace systems.
