NatureMade Vitamin E to Carry DSVP Certification Mark

ROCKVILLE, Md.--The U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) announced thatNature Made Vitamin E passed the requirements of its Dietary SupplementVerification Program (DSVP) and will be the first product to carry USP's DSVPcertification mark. Nature Made is a division of Northridge, Calif.-basedPharmavite LLC, the first company to join DSVP.

The DSVP mark ensures the product contains the ingredients declared on thelabel in the amount declared; it meets requirements for limits on potentialcontaminants; and it has been manufactured in compliance with USP (www.usp.org)and proposed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards for good manufacturingpractices (GMPs).
