Embria Nets Immune Claim in Canada

ANKENY, IowaHealth Canada approved a cold and flu claim for an immune health product using Embria's EpiCor ingredient. With this Natural Product Number (NPN) accreditation, Praxis Nutri-Pharma can market the product, which contains 500 mg, with the claim Helps reduce incidence of cold and flu symptoms." Embria also currently has a new dietary ingredient (NDI) claim on file.

In the United States, EpiCor has received praise from the city of Ankeny, Iowa, which uses the supplements as part of an employee wellness program.  The city's human resource department recorded a 28-percent decrease in cold, flu and upper respiratory illness doctor visits compared to the same employees the previous year.
