MONTREALLallemand Health Solutions will unveil the results of a new clinical study conducted with three of its probiotic strains at Probiota 2014 in Amsterdam, Feb. 4-5.

The results of the study will be presented by Stéphanie-Anne Girard, Ph.D., clinical program manager, during the session, Lab confidential - What's red hot from the men in white coats." The study evaluated the effects of probiotics on immune function and digestive health on more than 500 subjects.

Solange Henoud, regulatory affairs manager, will also present, Health Claim Success! The Lallemand experience in Canada," during the event.

In 2013, the Canadian Heath Authorities (NHPD) granted five condition-specific health claims in the areas of digestive health, natural defenses and stress for some of the companys key probiotic formulas. Lallemand, Inc. inaugurated its Lallemand Health Solutions (LHS) division, which consolidated the internationally recognized probiotic manufacturers Institut Rosell and Harmonium International, early last year.
