NORTHBROOK, Ill.--Bell Flavors and Fragrances Inc.(www.bellff.com) purchased EIGSA (Empresa Industrializadora de Guadalajara,S.A. de C.V.) a flavor and fragrance manufacturerin Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The location will be named Bell Flavors & Fragrances de Mexico de S. deR.L. de C.V. EIGSA deC.V., established in 1952, was a privately held, full-service manufacturer of flavors and fragrances; its primary focus will be to support the flavor and fragrance requirements of Mexico and Latin America. EIGSA is regionally recognized for its product development in flavors, food product ingredients and fragrances. "The purchase of EIGSA was in direct response to the needs of our Latin American customers," said James Heinz, president and chief executive officer (CEO). "The acquisition synergistically combines our growth objectives as a world-wide company with our dedication to servicing our existing customers."
