PARSIPPANY, N.J.—A line of taste potentiators from DSM is now available for use in bakery and dairy applications. The Sensarite™ products are based on yeast technology and allow formulators to boost saltiness, intensify and balance flavor profiles, and provide masking capabilities for healthier products without jeopardizing taste. “We have carried out a series of studies at our Food Innovation Center, which, combined with the results of sensory testing, demonstrates the positive impact of using Sensarite in a range of key healthier food applications,” said Hanneke Veldhuis, business manager, Sensarite, DSM (www.dsm.com).
