Chr. Hansen Debuts Probiotics at SupplySide

LAS VEGASChr. Hansen will unveil its newest probiotic products at the SupplySide West 2010 trade show taking place Oct. 20-23 in Las Vegas. The company will be highlighting new strains and a new product concept, and booth visitors will have a chance to taste new samples of Chr. Hansens probiotic sticks and chewable probiotic tablets in various flavors.

The company will also showcase Lactobacillus fermentum PCC® and Lactobacillus F19®, the two most recent extensions of its Probio-Tec® range of probiotic strains with documented effect. According to the company, PCC® is a promising strain within immune health, and F19® has documented effect within gastrointestinal (GI) health.

Earlier this year we launched our combined probiotics and fiber concept for improved digestive health, which paves the way for powerful anti-constipation supplements containing efficacious probiotics and beneficial fibers," said Charlotte Beyerholm, marketing manager, Human Health & Nutrition. The supplement format is a 6 g stick with powder to be sifted over breakfast cereals or poured into a glass of water once or twice a day.
