MONTREALLallemand, Inc., recently inaugurated its new Lallemand Health Solutions (LHS) division that consolidates the internationally recognized probiotic manufacturers Institut Rosell and Harmonium International. Lallemand Health Solutions is dedicated in bringing to its customers the highest-quality probiotic solutions produced within current GMP and ISO 9001 environments.

LHS is a unique probiotic player in the global arena that can provide its customers and partners solutions from fermentation and lyophilization all the way to finished product capabilities. The new division is managed by Francine Mondou, former co-founder and president of Harmonium International.

LHS offers a line of ready-to-market probiotic formulas, including Lacidofil®, Probiokid®, Protecflor® and Probio'stick®. The company also can develop custom formulations based on the documented ROSELL®, LAFTI® or HARMONIUM® strains. Formulations also can include premium vitamin and mineral yeasts or -Glucans developed and produced by the Lallemand group under the LALMIN® brand.

LHS GASTRO-AD® fermented soy supplement for gastric comfort received the Nutraceutical Business and Technology (NBT) Award in the Best New Finished Product" category during the Vitafoods International trade show last year in Geneva.
