Lallemand Probiotics Gain Halal Certification 45125

MONTREALLallemand announced its major yeast and bacteria probiotic products received halal certification from the Islamic Food And Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).

The companys halal-certified probiotic products include the yeast probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii and the Probiocap® microencapsulated bacteria strains Lactobacillus Rosell-52; Lactobacillus Rosell-11; Lactobacillus casei Rosell-215; and Bifidobacterium Rosell-175. These probiotic strains are well described; they enter into the formulation of the companys key probiotic supplements and are also available for direct sales or for inclusion into custom formulations.
