WILD Exclusive Provider of Sterling Tech.s Immunel, Tegricel

ERLANGER, Ky.WILD Flavors Inc. and Sterling Technology recently formed a partnership that makes WILD the exclusive provider of both Immunel and Tegricel. These bioactive milk peptide products will now be included in WILDs Health Ingredient Technology & Solutions® (H.I.T.S.®) lineup.

The partnership combines Sterlings scientific research expertise in bioactive milk peptides with WILDs product development and flavor expertise. With Sterling Technologys years of clinical studies and GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status, WILD will be able to incorporate Immunel and Tegricel into efficacious, tasty food and beverage products.

Immunel milk peptide is a clinically tested, cost-competitive ingredient that supports immune health and is easily incorporated into myriad food and beverage products with no impact on taste, color and texture. According to WILD, studies have shown Immunel to: rapidly increase phagocytosis, increase the number and vigor of immune cells that respond to microbial (bacterial) invaders and activate natural killer cells. Immunel can be used in foods, beverages and supplements.

Tegricel is a new product made from premium milk peptides and bioactives. It is a natural defense against irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and irritable bowel disease (IBD). WILD noted Tegricel has also been shown to repair damaged tissue from the use of NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.) and other conditions that cause intestinal damage. Tegricel can be used in foods, supplements and some beverage applications.
