DSM and HBA to Host Healthcare Panel

PARSIPPANY, N.J.DSM and the Metro Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) will present an expert panel that highlights the global and domestic healthcare market as well as its innovations and developments.

The panel will be held on May 21 at the DSM North America headquarters in New Jersey. It is part of an educational series offered by the HBA for women executives to be more involved in leadership briefings, industry strategy discussions and networking.

Panel speakers include Jo Pisani of Pharmaceuticals & Lifesciences Strategy and PricewaterhouseCoopers,  Barbara Bush of Global Health Corps,  Paul Antinori of the Medicines Company, Lara Fontaine of Worldwide R&D Strategy & Portfolio Solutions and Pfizer, Pam Bolton of GBCHealth and Pamela R. Demain of Corporate Licensing and Merck.

"Its critical to initiate discussion and increase connectivity between private and public players," said Kathleen Fitzpatrick, president of HBA Metro Chapter. "Creative collaborations now take place in ways that would have been unthinkable a few years agoand its these partnerships that will be the catalyst to increased market efficiencies and a higher quality of patient care."

For the third year in a row, DSM sponsored American Society for Nutrition (ASN) Minority Affairs Committee to encourage academic development in underrepresented minorities.
