CLAIR SHORES, Mich.AlbionAdvanced Nutrition (www.albion-an.com) announced several of its amino acidchelate ingredients were granted derogation (approval) from the United Kingdom(UK), allowing the ingredients to be used in food supplements sold throughoutthose countries through the end of 2009. Albion noted the remaining EU memberstates will grant derogation or accept the result of derogation. The approvedingredients include Calcium Amino Acid Chelate, Magnesium Amino Acid Chelate,Iron Amino Acid Chelate (Ferrochel), Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Zinc AminoAcid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate and Chromium Amino Acid Chelate(Chromium Chelavite).
