Martin Bauer

PARSIPPANY, N.J.--Martin Bauer has developed Botanical Granules and High Density Powders to overcome production difficulties associated with many herbal powders. The granules and high-density powders can increase herb content per gram (resulting in smaller capsule sizes), flow properties and blending possibilities. Among the ingredients available with this technology are St. John's wort, echinacea, Siberian ginseng root and kava kava.

Martin Bauer has also introduced two new ingredients. Olive Leaf extract (15%oleuropein) contains active secoiridoids, including oleuropein. This constituent shows heart healthy anti-arrhythmic, hypotensive and antioxidant effects. The second new ingredient is Goldenroot (Rhodiola rosea L.), traditionally used for immune support. The activephenyl-propanoides and phenyl-ethanoids are believed to be antioxidant, anti-hyperglycemic,adaptogenic, stimulating and cardioprotective.
