CHICAGOSourceOne Global Partners launched its two newest formulations, Cholesstrinol HP and Cholesstrinol HPe for heart health. According to CEO Jesse Lopez, the products improved upon previous formulations PMF-Source® citrus polymethoxylated flavones (PMFs) and TocoSource® palm tocotrienols, delivering more than double the potency. This allows manufacturers to deliver smaller dosages with the same availability. Additionally, the new Chloesstrinol ingredients feature a broader flavonoid profile. Chloesstrinol HPe also features eriocitrin, a lemon extract flavonoid used for anti-inflammatory purposes.

SourceOne pointed to several studies demonstrating the ingredients' heart health benefits. Published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine (Vol. 13, No. 6, 2007), the largest study significantly lowered total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides. The 12-week, double blind, placebo-controlled study resulted in a 29-percent improvement in the subjects' LDL:HDL ratio.

Earlier in October, the company received a U.S. patent for its VESIsorb® colloidal droplet delivery system.
