Stratum Nutrition Partners with KitoZyme

ST. LOUISStratum Nutrition, the human health division of Novus International, entered into a strategic partnership with Herstal, Belgium-based KitoZyme. Stratum will collaborate with KitoZyme to launch chitin-glucan, a vegetarian ingredient that supports arterial and heart health, to the global nutraceutical market.

KitoZyme has developed a novel, patented chitin-glucan ingredient, said Jeremy Moore, director of marketing, Stratum Nutrition. Through this partnership, we will utilize our R&D, branding, marketing and sales expertise to expand its use in a variety of finished goods to support heart and overall health. The initial partnership will focus on the chitin-glucan ingredient launch; however, there is potential for future product development with other ingredients.
