U.S. Sales Boost Reliv 1Q

CHESTERFIELD, Mo.Worldwidesales for Reliv International Inc. (NASDAQ:RELV) rose 23 percent to $29 millionin the first quarter. A sales growth of 26 percent in U.S. sales led the charge,with international markets contributing 4-percent sales growth. Reliv alsoreceived a boost from $1 million in sales of its new cardiovascular productlaunched during the quarter. As a result of all the sales gains, net incomeclimbed 25 percent to $2.1 million or $0.12 per share.

Management noted sales of both new and existing products havebeen strong, crediting the companys independent distributors. Relivsworldwide distributor count rose 14 percent compared to a year ago, and itsentrance into the German market has met with high distributor enthusiasm.
