Aloecorp Celebrates Anniversary, Signs New Distributor

BROOMFIELD, Colo.--Aloecorp, a verticallyintegrated supplier of aloe vera raw materials, celebrated its 15th anniversaryin April. Aloecorp's parent company, Nam Yang Aloe Co. Ltd., has been inbusiness for 27 years.

"When I started Aloecorp fifteen years ago, it was with therecognition of the wonderful health benefits of aloe and a dream that highquality aloe vera products would be available to a variety of industries for usein finished products," said Bill William Lee, chairman of the board ofAloecorp. Aloecorp also announced an agreement with Brown Chemical Co.Inc., under which the Oakland, N.J.-based distributor will represent Aloecorp'sraw material ingredients in the Northeast United States. Brown Chemical has a50,000-square-foot warehouse and also operates a bulk liquid packaging facilityin New Jersey. The company is a member of the Chemical Distribution Network,with access to more than 35 distribution centers nationwide.
