Aloecorp Forms Alliance, Announces AwardWinner

BROOMFIELD, Colo.--Aloecorp formed a strategicsales alliance with Real Business Solutions (RBS). Under terms of the agreement,RBS will exclusively represent Aloecorp in California, establishing licensingagreements with finished goods manufacturers in the nutritional, functionalfood, cosmeceutical and pharmaceutical industries.

Aloecorp also presented its Yun-Ho Lee Award of Scientific Meritto Dr. Yin-Tung Wang during the International Aloe Science Council annualmeeting in Las Vegas. Wang was selected for his research in determining theeffects of supplemental minerals and severity of harvest in leaf yield of aspecific type of aloe. He was honored with a plaque and check for $10,000.

The Yun-Ho Lee Award was established in 1997 by B. William Lee,chairman of the board of Aloecorp, Unigen Pharmaceuticals and Oasis WellnessNetwork. It honors Lee's father, the founder and chairman of Korea-based NamyangAloe Co. Ltd. A scientific peer review panel selects the award winner fromscientific papers that have been blinded for the review process.
