AUSTIN, TexasAloecorp, part of the ECONET family of companies, moved its corporate headquarters from Washington state to Austin, Texas. Aloecorp grows its own Aloe vera plants on farms in Texas, Mexico and China, and management determined relocating the corporate offices to Texas would help with communications with its Texas R&D labs and position them closer to their growing fields. The companys new location is at 248 Addie Roy Road, Ste. B-103, Austin, Texas 78746, (512)327-0050, www.Aloecorp.com. In additional news, the company purchased a 200-hectare (almost 500-acre) farm east of Tampico, Mexico, in the state of Vera Cruz, near its other two farms and state-of-the-art processing center in Gonzales, Mexico. Aloecorp also owns the historical Hilltop Gardens in Lyford, Texas, the first commercial Aloe vera farming operation in the United States.
