Green Tea Kills Breast Cancer Cells

BETHESDA, Md.Scientists at the UniformedServicesUniversity of the Health Sciences (USU), Bethesda, Md., investigated green tea and its anti-tumor effects in breast cancer cells. The recently concluded study will be published in the Journal of Cancer Biology and Therapy, December 2007. Results from the study suggested green tea inhibited the invading capacity of breast cancer cells, while also identifying mechanisms involved in destroying cancer cells.
