Herbalifes Venardos Joins DSEA Board

SARASOTA, Fla.—The Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA) elected Herbalife to join its board of directors; John Venardos, Herbalife’s vice president of worldwide regulatory and government affairs, will serve as the DSEA board representative.Venardos said, “We understand the importance of conveying science-based information on dietary supplements. DSEA is filling a critical role of unifying industry efforts, and we’re looking forward to participating in their effort.”

The other board members for DSEA (www.supplementinfo.org) are Elliott Balbert, Natrol; Valerie Bell, Canadian Health Food Association; Jon Benninger, Virgo Publishing; Fred Linder, New Hope Natural Media; Michael McGuffin, American Herbal Products Association; David Morrison, The Vitamin Shoppe; Marlene Ross, NBTY; David Seckman, National Nutritional Foods Association; and Bob Whitelaw, Capsugel.
