IASC Seeks Aloe Research Papers

IRVING, TexasThe International Aloe Science Council (IASC) issued a call for scientific research papers for its 2008 Yun-Ho Lee Merit Award. Criteria for the annual award include originality of thought, research development, data support, data analysis and usefulness of the research in expanding the knowledge of products from Aloe vera L.The award was established by Bill Lee, chairman/CEO of the ECONET companies, which include Aloecorp and Unigen Pharmaceuticals, in honor of his father Yun-Ho Lee. “Our commitment to research and development of Aloe vera is a global commitment,” Lee said. “I am immensely gratified to see the vision of my father honored through the IASC Merit Award process, and anticipate researchers to once again submit a quality array of novel science on Aloe vera.”The 2008 Yun-Ho Lee Merit Award will be conferred at the 28th Annual IASC Meeting in Dallas, Sept. 12 to 14, 2008. The deadline for submissions is July 31; further information on submission guidelines is available online (IASC.org).
