Starwest Acquires Trinity Herb Co.

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.StarwestBotanicals acquired Trinity Herb Co.; details of the acquisition were notdisclosed. Trinitys Sebastopol, Calif., location was closed, as alloperations will take place from Starwests headquarters in Rancho Cordova,Calif. Jeff Kaus, founder of Trinity Herb, was named director of organic productdevelopment for Starwest. With the acquisition, Starwest(www.starwest-botanicals.com) added more than 190 bulk herbs to its line, 82 ofthem certified organic, as well as Trinitys essential oils, vegetable oilsand hydrosols.
