MELBOURNE, Fla.—Terry Laboratories developed a new program for manufacturers of nutritional, food and cosmetic products to promote their use of 100-percent pure aloe vera in product formulas. The company invites manufacturers to submit product samples for independent testing and analysis; those that meet purity criteria can qualify to use a specially-designed “100% Pure Aloe” seal on product packaging. According to Terry Labs (www.terrylabs.com), the company has seen an increase in adulteration in the aloe vera market and wants to aid both manufacturers and consumers in promoting the benefits of pure aloe vera.

“This tiny seal gives protection to the consumer and validity to the product,” said Richard Lane, director of global sales. “Maintaining formulas is very important to manufacturers, and we can provide that double check.” Companies interested in details can contact Terry Labs at (800) FOR-ALOE.
