MELBOURNE, Fla.—Terry Laboratories opened its newest, most advanced aloe vera processing facility, situated on 44 acres in Central America. The plant will provide both spray-dried and freeze-dried aloe vera powders during the fourth quarter of 2006; the addition of Cryo-Vera and two other proprietary Terry Labs products is slated for production beginning in early 2007. According to the company, the acquisition will help it leverage its existing resources, including its aloe vera fields in the Dominican Republic and its U.S. distribution centers.
