Proprietary compounds and extraction methods have beenidentified for banaba leaf based upon a novel screening method developed byXiaozhuo Chen, Ph.D., associate professor of biomedical sciences and adjunctprofessor of molecular and cell biology at the Edison Biotechnology Institute,Ohio University. Dr. Chen will discuss his discoveries and their ramificationsin glucose and lipid control.
