DECATUR, Ill.--Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) and Nutraceutix Inc. executed an exclusive licensing agreement for ADM to use Nutraceutix' patented CDT™ Controlled Delivery Technology to develop and market dietary supplements. ADM will market its products using CDT on a global basis to dietary supplement manufacturers. The first product to be marketed will be Novasoy® Daily Dose™, a once-a-day supplement of soy isoflavones that will deliver the active ingredients throughout the day.

"Nutraceutix' CDT technology allows us to tailor the biological delivery of dietary supplements to maximize its health benefits and, in most cases, better simulate the natural function of the human body," said Tony DeLio, vice president of marketing and external affairs for ADM (www.admworld.com). ADM's range of dietary ingredients include the Novasoy isoflavones, vitamin E, CardioAid™, NutriSoy® soy protein and other soy foods.

"The Nutraceutix and ADM alliance marries ADM's expertise in the natural nutraceutical market with Nutraceutix' patented CDT to develop better-performing dietary supplements," said David Howard, chief executive officer of Nutraceutix (www.nutraceutix.com). "ADM's global reach allows us to make these products available worldwide."
