Amerilab Increases Production Capacity, Files for Patents
MINNEAPOLISAmerilabTechnologies Inc. commissioned a new automated facility dedicated to high-speedproduction and cartoning of effervescent tablets in polypropylene or aluminumtubes. The new facility increased Amerilabs production capabilities by 400percent.
The company also announced it filed patent applications forfour new effervescent formulations, including tablets with menthol andeucalyptus oil for sinus congestion and the specific use of steviosides ineffervescent tablets. Amerilab (www.amerilabtech.com) plans to file up to eightadditional patents this year in the areas of effervescent technologies and fastdissolve technologies.
