Carrington Acting to Protect Patents on Manapol

IRVING, Texas--Carrington Laboratories Inc. (www.carringtonlabs.com)announced that it is investigating alleged infringements on its patents,trademarks and intellectual property. The company has more than 120 patentsissued, allowed or pending in 26 countries covering composition of its Aloevera L. matter, process and use. The company stated that it wouldinitially focus on its Manapol trademark and technology.

"We have gone to great lengths to absolutely guarantee that each of ourproducts--or those of other manufacturers licensed to use Carringtonmaterials--are formulated with the levels of our proprietary raw materials thathave proven effective," said Carlton Turner, president and chief executiveofficer. "We intend to vigorously and aggressively pursue any instances ofunauthorized or fraudulent use of our proprietary materials, trade names orother intellectual property."
