Copyright Infringement Case Settled
CHICAGO--The Federal District Court of Illinois ruled that Healthy Healing Enterprisesand its Agents, Linda Rector Page and Elliot Page, were liable for copyright infringement.The case centered around portions of text originally penned by Dr. Cass Ingram in hisbook, Self-Test Nutrition Guide. The court found that the Agents plagiarized thetext and reprinted it in their publication, Healthy Healing. They have beenprohibited from selling that publication.
The case was decided in January, but in March the settlement was announced and the juryawarded damages to Ingram.
