InterHealth Receives European Patent for ChromeMate

BENICIA, Calif.--InterHealth Nutraceuticals (www.InterHealthUSA.com)was granted a European patent for its ChromeMate niacin-bound chromium.According to InterHealth, the patent (No. 0440626) further strengthens theproprietary position of the chromium compound.

"This patent protection will help ensure that inferior ... productsdon't find their way to European retail shelves," said Gary Troxel,InterHealth's executive vice president of sales. InterHealth already holdsseveral U.S. patents on its chromium ingredient.
