Lipid Nutrition, Natural Inc. Settle Patent Infringement Suit

WORMERVEER,The Netherlands, & VERNON HILLS, Ill.Lipid Nutrition and Natural Inc.(www.naturalinc.com) announced thesettlement of a patent infringement action filed in January 2003. The suit,filed in U.S. District Court in Delaware, charged Natural Inc. with using twomanufacturing processes utilizing a specific enzyme to extract CLA, processesprotected by two Loders Croklaan patents. According to the companies, allpending claims and counterclaims have now been settled, and Natural Inc. willpay Lipid Nutrition an undisclosed sum.
