Nordic Naturals Receives Patent for Flavored Gel Caps

WATSONVILLE, Calif.--Nordic Naturals Inc. received U.S. Patent No. 6,346,231 covering flavored gelatin capsules and the manufacturing method. The patent applies to essential fatty acids, including fish oils, with continuation to cover all usages of flavored capsules. Nordic Naturals manufactures a line of omega-3 products, using natural flavorings for the oils and gel caps.
